Health & Safety
Bennett Day has always prioritized the health and safety of our campers. Learn more about the measures we’re taking to protect our community against COVID-19 in our Summer 2021 Camp Guide.
Each morning, campers will participate in art, athletic, and STEM activities based on the theme of the day. In the afternoon, campers get to “choose their own adventure” and create their own plan. Options include, but aren’t limited to, drone racing, sewing and textiles, claymation, digital photography, slime time, coding, mechanical engineering, basketball, soccer, flag football, handball, and badminton!
This year Bennett Day Camp will offer field trips that are in alignment with our COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols. These will include scooter trips to nearby parks, walking art challenges, neighborhood scavenger hunts, and more.
On Water Wednesdays, campers will get to play on-site in our water field. Activities will include relay races, water balloon games, and more!
At Bennett Day Camp we know plans change! We pride ourselves on the flexibility we are able to provide to campers and their families. Our 100% Refund Policy allows families to receive a full refund up until the very first day of camp.

Academic Camp with Connections Academics
Reading (Rising 1st-3rd):
This two-week course will use the Orton Gillingham Method to provide early literacy instruction to elementary-aged students in a fun and engaging way. The Orton Gillingham Method is a research-backed method of reading instruction that is particularly effective with students who have difficulty with reading and writing.
Using a low instructor-to-student ratio is key in this method and ensures successful delivery of reading, spelling, and writing strategies. Through repetitive and structured lessons, students begin to understand the foundations of phonics, including decoding, phonemic awareness, fluency, and articulation.
Math (Rising 2nd-7th):
Organized by grade-level spans, this camp will give students the opportunity to review Math concepts in a fun, interactive, and engaging way as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Sessions will be led by highly qualified and licensed teachers and incorporate Math concepts that students tend to need review on to bridge the summer gap from year to year.
